BIDEN: Damn Fine President Today Topic

How does Biden fail to get our people out before he pulls the plug? Where was the planning?
Well in January when they took over there was a backlog of 17k visa applications, that hadn’t been processed since March 20 because of Covid, that they’ve been processing and if they had done a full scale removal of everyone what signal would that have sent about their faith in the Afghan government?

Another “where was the plan” post that doesn’t account for the Afghan president leaving and the army handing over their weapons.

Biden dictates policy now, not Trump. Biden could change course, decide to delay, work something out with NATO.

I was never in favor of pulling out, not completely. Why give it all away? Surely they would immediately target everyone who aided the NATO military and rebel fighters. It would be signing their death sentences. Women will be targeted, just as before. Where's the crying about women's and human rights?

To pull out like this is clueless or heartless.
So you support an increase in troops and warfare with the Taliban then.

Never doubt that whatever you say or post, U2 or a leftie buddy will insist you said something else.

No, that’s what he’s saying. He wasn’t in favor of pulling out. Well ok, then there would’ve been a fight with the Taliban and they weren’t leaving. Hence, not in favor of pulling out = an increase in troops and warfare. That’s the logical end of not pulling out after the agreement your guy made with the Taliban.

Oh it's bullshit, their people are never at fault, blame is always deflected. No accountability. They make an excuse for everything, their media carry their water. Biden clearly misstepped here, but they want Trump to eat it. I don't buy it. He had options, chose to ignore warnings. I won't waste any more time here.

The media is destroying Biden so nice try there.

I said Biden deserves some blame here before, I’m just not saying he deserves all the blame you think he does. You also kinda ceded all moral high ground with that blow job joke so…

Nobody is saying Trump deserves all the blame either, you won’t find that anywhere. Most still blame Bush the most for even going in in the first place. But the fact is there was a ceasefire agreement made with the Taliban that if Biden had not honored meant there would’ve been more warfare.

He didn’t ignore warnings. He did what 70% of Americans wanted which was to bring the troops home. This is what happens when wars end.

18k evacuated in less than a week and no American casualties. The facts on the ground aren’t really going with this narrative.

A photo of dummy hard at work spewing complete bullshit from Mommy's paneled basement...

It's a "fresh" meme that dummy should easily recognize, since he perpetually lives in the 80's under Reagan.

Does Biden deserve some fault? Yes

Does he deserve all the blame or even most of the blame? No

You clearly had no response to what UofA and I were arguing.

According to Sen Tillis there are 70k that need evacuating.

As of Friday, there were an estimated 10,000 US citizens, an estimated 10,000 Afghans who have been issued a special immigrant visa (SIV), 40,000 SIV-eligible Afghans, nearly 6,000 U.S. troops, and another 1,000 U.S. personnel at the Kabul airport. That’s nearly 70,000 people to evacuate over 10 days.

Well the citizens were told on May 15th, two weeks after the Trump/Taliban negotiated exit date that Biden moved back already, to leave. Hopefully most of them have.

There was a backlog of 17k in January, due to Covid, of SIV eligible visas to process. Not blaming anyone here, that’s just what was the case.

The troops and personnel are doing their job and I’m sure will be evacuated.

And they’ve already evacuated about 18k.

I hope you're right. If this goes sideways, there's one hell of a humanitarian crisis...

You rooting for failure??
8/22/2021 8:51 AM
No.

It's real simple. Biden screwed up bigly. End of story. NO EXCUSES.

Do not defend him. Move on.

If you try and justify the BIDEN EXIT then you no longer have ANY credibility, assuming you had it to begin with.
