30 wins at home, but 29 total wins? Was there a forfeit or something? -1 and -52 away? What kind of record is that? Some of that NEW math???

OK crazystengel, I'll bite...what the heck happened there?

Looking at the team stats, the pitchers show a W-L record of 52-49, so I am guessing the team forfeited some games (did they use an illegal player?)

Then WIS just subtracted the wins and added the losses to the away record???

Looks like a bad case of Photoshop. It don't smell Authentic.

contrarian23's correct, the team was using an illegal player and had a bunch of wins subtracted (for some reason, only from their road totals).

Bad luck for the owner in that a) the illegal player wasn't detected until about 100 games into the season, and b) the player in question was the closer, who appeared in a lot of the team's wins.

I just hope Admin didn't try to collect on that $500,000 penalty...I don't know about you, but I don't keep that much in my checking account.

Fear of that almost kept me from playing here, for fear of having to pay if I goofed up...


Violations of theme league rules will result in a $500,000 fine per violation and/or game forfeiture.

$500,000 is the maximum. The owner here twisted Brandon Morrow, who was NOT a member of the 2018 Dodgers. But Morrow did play for the 2017 Dodgers, plus the owner had no priors, was a valued member of the WIS community, etc., so the judge took it easy on him. Only a $100,000 fine.

No wonder you f'd up, Morrow is a hockey player. I think he used to play for the North Stars...he's married to Guy Carbonneau's daughter...old tyme hockey...

Would be like if Mark Belanger were in the Baseball Hall of Fame (I assume he isn't?).

Guy never had a 60 point season, but has enough rings to open a jewelry store. Why not throw a plaque in there, ay?

Speaking of hockey, the Blues are 19-2-3 vs the West going into January. Not shabby.
