More people wanted to continue his agenda than not. It's pretty simple. Yeah, she lost the election because of a combined 100k or so votes in PA/WI/MI, but overall more people wanted to carry on.

Those three states make up around 20% of the population. No reason to discount them just because they are more densely populated than rural states.

oh i didn't mean to infer that i discounted them i just think the when 1 state can abnormaly affect a popular vote the electoral college keeps that in check

those larger states get their share of electoral votes based on their entire population in respect to the total population instead of the higher percentage that happen in those 3 but also in texas for trump for me when harry reid talks about abolishing the electoral college it is a attempt to steal the national elections. i also think we will see this phenomenon again in the future
