Over the weekend a ticket was submitted indicating a problem changing the gameplan view to defense or miscellaneous. After a quick check I realized that it was only when you didn't have a currently scheduled opponent. I put out a fix for the bug on 8/5 about 9:30 or so. As soon as that went out the page was broken for everyone. PM games ran. I got several tickets later in the evening indicating that it was broken. I quickly realized the problem and fixed the page itself. Then, realizing that many people may have not been able to gameplan for those PM games, I wiped them out and rescheduled them.
I'm not sure where the misunderstanding happened, but I clearly said that anyone that tried to gameplan during that time was at an unfair disadvantage, whether they won the game or not.
Ok Scott, the only thing you're doing is looking like more and more of a buffoon...backtracking and renegging aren't the best practices here.
So earlier you told me that everyone wasn't penalized, but in the above bolded statement you said that everyone was affected by the bug...so how can everyone not be equally penalized if everyone had the same problem? By the way I thought this happened for the 8-4 games, not the 8-5s...no? I also love how you talk about the forums only representing a handful of the NBA sim playership and how we aren't the largest/smartest voice for the sim, however you'll let a ticket from 1 user change the entire landscape of a day's games...friggin classic!
Like I said before, you gave people an advantage AFTER you decided to re-run games because there wasn't enough time or notice so that EVERYONE could know about the fix, and quite frankly there never could be enough time...thus what's the best solution then? Leave the games as they were, fix the bug, and apologize...and I'm not sure you did any of the 3...Great Job!...
