I wonder if she gives good headers...

Offsides... only happens in the offensive 1/2 of the field. muddpucka can't even stay awake to know that.

I wouldn't be too much concerned with the distance ran but with the number sprints and the number of times you have to change direction.

Soccer is the only sport that the refs have to be in better shape than the players.

Steven Gerrard, who plays for Liverpool runs between 5 - 6 miles a game.

Keep up the intelligent comments.

No. What I am saying is I was playing my position. I would play up near the center line to keep the defense honest. Maybe when you play soccer, everyone just runs in a big bunch, follows the ball, and ignores their position. So that would put you in the 6-10 yo age group.

An average person walks 6-7 km per hour. So soccer players are more seditary than that.

That just meant that your team was not that good and the other team dominated you. They kept the ball down towards your goal for most of the game. If this is not the case then your Midfield sucked. They dribbled until they lost the ball. You of course know that if they had the ball you could have run diagonals to open up space and create channels, right?

Let's do some math.... an average person can walk 4 mph. How far can a person walk in 90 minutes?

Come on now.

Think about it....

Yes! A person can walk 6 miles in 90 minutes! So if Steven Gerrard is running 5-6 miles in 90 minutes, he must be standing around quite a bit.

Firm and fair. This is the arguement that should be made.

an average person can walk 4 mph, for 1 mile

an average person will not KEEP that pace up for 6 miles

Sorry, the average person isn't as fat as you, Narcyr.
