That's taints. Mine is that most Islamists are harmless. Ben Shapiro agrees.

Define harmless, even the peaceful ones, most believe:

1. Men are superior to women aka women are 2nd class citizens
2. Gays should be killed or at least excommunicated
3. Apostasy is punishable by death
4. What happened with Charlie Hedbo was justified

Hate to tell you, cccp, but:\
1. many American men still believe this.
2. Many right wing Catholics believe this..maybe not the killed part (although I am sure some of them do) but certainly the excommunicated, or even "cured" part.
3. You could probably find a few Americans who believe this too, although I admit, probably not too many.
4. Many right wingers feel killing doctors who perform abortions is justified

#1) I would say some, not many. Fewer than 50%
#2) Yes, most are Republicans. My wife left that faith for that reason.

Very good. Then USE it as one. It seems to me that you have the basic framework for a "compromise" for peace and land for a State right there.
Palestine gives up it's ridiculous demand for FULL "right of return", and Israel allow some form of limited "right of return" based on legitimate familial claims of heritage or some such AND turn some land now occupied over to a Palestinian FRIENDLY Gov't.

As I've tried to point out, I'm no expert here......... just a citizen tired of spending money supporting all sides in every Mid-east dispute) but Didn't Begin and (ol' polka-dot) Arafat actually make some sort of progress towards resolution (with prodding and cajoling from Peanut Carter) of something decades ago??

Here is the problem that no one wants to address. Palestinians HATE Jews and want them all exterminated. The rest is just posturing. The leader of Hamas said he wants all the Jews in Israel so that they could be killed with one swift blow. Tough to negotiate with persons like that and they are in charge not the moderates.

How can you support a "swift blow" to kill large populations and ALSO demand and support a Right of Return policy that (If granted) would result in 1000's of Palestinian's being killed (right along with their Jewish neighbors) in that "swift blow" some fool is bragging about.
