I guess here are my picks without any kind of explaination.

Midwest: Finlandia over Johns Hopkins

East: Beloit over McMurry

South: Lassell over SUNY Maritime

West: Edgewood over Thomas

FF: Beloit over Finlandia; Edgewood over Lassell

Championship: Beloit over Edgewood

Thanks for the vote of confidence, kreller! I hope that doesn't jinx us. Beloit has a Sim AI in the first round too; not too worried about that one, but after that it gets pretty tough.

kreller couldn't possibly vote for finlandia to win it all--not after he beat my *** this season. hopefully it will go more along the lines of bradshaw's prediction, though you can never look past a SimAI in the postseason.

personally i think it's wide open (but hope it isn't).

Have to agree with bradshaw, the East is stacked this year. Lots of "traditional" powers in the bracket.

It feels like Groundhog Day for Superior. I've been in the tournament 4 years, and in Finlandia's bracket 4 years. I've been knocked out by Finlandia, Monmouth, Monmouth (and Finlandia would have whooped me the next game), and now, guess who awaits me in the Sweet 16 - Goose's #1 Fighting Fins. Where's Andi McDowell 10 years ago when you need her?

I second the groundhog day experience. I played York in the 2nd round this season and last season. Now I play Lassell in the S16, just as last season. Going further, I played SUNY-M in the E8 last season. If I continue this miracle season with a win over Brad, I could potentially meet SUNY-M again in the Elite 8.

I thought this was my best Beloit team ever, but a good game plan against us and a poor performance by us will have us on the sidelines the rest of the way. Congratulations to knuckledrag and Ohio Northern for the win, and good luck to all remaining contestants!
