Junior Colleges in TN are free tuition. It is funded by the lottery. So, by "free" tuition, this essentially means low income earners are funding the middle classes first 2 years of college. It is never free. Teachers are still going to expect paychecks. The light company is still going to send a bill. Someone has to pay for this. This is what makes Bernie's ideas so ridiculous and young people in America just swallowed it up without ever stopping to think about the ramifications.

As a disclaimer, I am not much older than Tang, but people my age and younger drive me insane. Common sense is gone. I like to believe that I think pretty rationally.

bernie was setting up a tax on stock transactions as part of the funding for it.......there would not have been a big corporate and rich people tax cut either.

See, I don't believe that we should tax people to oblivion for being successful and taking risks. That is what Bernie wanted to do. I am for very limited and low taxes. My problem with Trump's tax plan had nothing to do with the lowering of taxes. It had to do with the fact that he lowered without cutting spending.

If you haven't read "7 habits of highly effective people" by Stephen R. Covey. I would seriously recommend it to everyone. It's by far the most powerful book I've ever read.
