SoS was based off owner rankings or team rankings? Or some mixture of both? I hope to beat your prediction. Preseason sos no matter what it’s based off of in sports is ever accurate and I think I can do better than average of 17th in owner ranks.

Historic owner performance which is by far the greatest future predictor of performance of any other indicator (assuming you can tease out format), born out by thousands of seasons of data across leagues (and at least the handful of seasons in this league). Sure there are blips but in the aggregate it will outpace any other indicator over a long enough horizon.

As far as predicting SoS specifically, I would say it isn't all that great since Savage has the noise of not knowing which world coaches put their better teams in.

On the other hand: my mom died a handful of months ago, the last thing she wanted to see before she died was another 'tics championship, it is mother's day...

I think it's slightly better than 50/50 the Celts win. I think Denver wins in 6 or 5. But if LA and Boston both won, that could be fun.
