Nice! I am definitely interested but could use a pointer on figuring out who played on ST. I am really not familiar with pro-football-reference and don’t see ST positions listed when I sort by the colleges. Any tips on the best way to ID what ST options I have for a given Alma mater? I just don’t have the mind to remember ST players, even returners.
Aside from the kick and punt return stats on the pro reference link for your school- there are also some notable ones that got their start on special teams like LB Zach Thomas or RB Terrell Davis in their rookie year. But the alumni KR/PR stats is the easiest way to identify a number of eligible ST units. Then just find the best ratings, or lowest price, or whatever area of ST you want to be a high rating.

When navigating pro reference- Please note that you must have very top toolbar with Football(college) highlighted in order for it to pull any of the subject data. Sometimes you also have to click on college to reset it each time. Type in and click on your school, Then find the NFL/AFL player link in the middle of the page, then you can go Players Pro Stats as well. The alumni players on your roster do NOT need to be drafted to be eligible. If they made the NFL team after being undrafted and appear in whatif- they are eligible for your roster. You can also click on "Colleges Index" for a listing of all schools with notable NFL records for each school.

We can certainly help on the K, P or ST if that is your last hurdle for the roster. Just post here or sitemail me.

For all the NFL QBs to come out of USC they have not produced many even good QBs lol. Thankfully they did produce Carson Palmer.

This is super helpful, seay00, thanks. I'm in. My own alma mater didn't even have a football team we were so small but I thought about going to Wisconsin so I'll give them a shot.

Awesome, what is not to like about prime Russell Wilson, maybe a JJ Watt DEF, Jonathan Taylor, Chris Chambers and Crazy Legs!

Oh shoot Crazy Legs? Thats gonna be nice

Trying to promote Dan’s research! Certainly not to put his talent pool on blast. There are many great foundational pieces to be had is the thought. And we all have the same salary cap to meet. You also have my complete roster to view. Very exciting each time someone jumps in. Let’s get it on!

Not a requirement to post the roster. But- Nice roster PW! If you do, you may want to delete the blue hyperlink of Remove next to each player to be safe. I made the same post and have now edited. Never know if whatif blocks that.

We could post our OL, DEF and ST alumni player representatives at anytime, or sitemail me and I’ll post when the league is filled for transparency. Your choice. We haven’t made rules on divisions, but we could later. If that is of interest. Never a fan of the random realignment for me, but I’m up for the majority always.

7 in, 17 to go!

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Got a solid QB, a bell cow RB, and even beyond Chambers and Hirsch, also have good WR seasons from Lee Evans and Al Toon.

Ngl im a bit surprised we've only had one SEC school chosen so far

With so many good choices out there, I'm guessing potential owners are doing their research vs selecting their favorite school. I based mine off Elway, Andrew Luck, Richard Sherman and McCaffrey Jr. Then, I would build around that. Did one last look at the Wrs and that was enough to commit to the Tree. The TE's were surprisingly plentiful too.

But then you only have so many spots and a cap to meet. So no Elway or McCaff Jr for me in the end. I did get McCaff Sr though! And a nice OL for my platoon of backs.
