That '44 Lindell is someone I should use more often...he had a monster season for me in a progressive.

My season is over and I missed the goals.  The total of team + plays was 188.   The team finished 88-74, 3rd in the division and 11 games back.  No playoffs.  Recall we played at Hilltop.

My Pitchers have combined for 22 plus plays.   I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong.  The team BA of .282 was 9th out of 24 and I was right at the league average in runs scored.  My staff was very good; lead both leagues in fewest hits, fewest earned runs, was second in ERA , second in WHIP, OBP against, etc...They were surely helped by the rangy defenders.     The 1890 Sadie McMahon finished with a line of 24-36 in just over 500IPs, 3.56 ERA, .240 OAV, 1.30WHIP, 3.76 k/9 & 3.33 bb/9.   He seemed to be snake bit and only yielded 11 homers in all those innings.    Part of his problem was an incredible 85 wild pitches and 45 hit batters.

Good exercise.  I will give it another try sooner than later.    

Just recently finished a Coors range team which finished 99-63 but won a 1-game playoff so reached 100 wins.   They finished with 183+ plays so well under the pace but some interesting stats...This team had a 33 mil pitching staff and led the entire league in road ERA.  They finished with an overall 4.07 ERA which included nearly 100 IP by AAA guys who combined for over a 10 ERA in their IP.  The Road ERA was 3.07.   The range impacted their ERA that much!!!

I was going to put up a theme that required 200+ plays for the playoffs.

I'd be up for that. I have an 88mil team with 200+ plays through 150 games right now (the current "smoke 'em" league)

This is the other end of the spectrum but I just had a team make 352 errors and luck into the WS title (100 million blacklist twist league)  My starting SS Frank Fennelly was in a battle all year to see if he's end up with more hits or errors he JUST pulled it out at the end finishing with 119 hits and 117 errors
