Lowering the cap is fine. The lower the cap, the less important your draft slot becomes, since each team can own fewer expensive studs.

The strategy is what really makes this one fun. I've been trying to pick players that have a couple years with that team so that I can change/adjust when I get towards the end of the draft. At 120 mil it's pretty easy for everyone to have a competitive team if they draft looking at the whole draft, besides bheid408 has enough on his plate keeping up with tracking/posting of the players to the teams, no need to burden him with more work. It has been running very smooth, great bunch of owners that seem to post their picks in a fast timely fashion. Not too sure many will drop if they enjoy this as much as I do. If lowered to 100mil or keep same is fine. I do think it would become a lot harder to draft with a 80mil cap thou. It's bheid408's theme league if he wants to leave it as is, or take a vote I'm cool with it.

If only it was possible to have more than one league at a time to try different things out...

Hey guys.... thanks for all the kind words on the league! I have been thinking about many of the things mentioned, lower cap, etc, etc. We can try any or all of those things as we go forward. First thing I'm going to do the next time I run this is try to balance out the picks among Franchises. The Twins and Indians got shorted early in the draft so I'd switch some teams around to balance that out. Another thing that would make this completely different is if I just shuffle the rounds a bit, for instance take round 10 and switch it with round 1 or round 19 with round 2 and so on........... completely changes a lot of picks for each owner.
