Maybe it's Dubya's fault.  He can still be blamed for **** in 2014, right?

Pretty sure he can be blamed next year too.

I'm sure the spin will be to blame everybody and everything but Obamacare.
Just wait. Its still not even fully implimented. wait til the major pieces like the penalties for uninsured individuals and the employer mandate kicks in. i'm getting a chris matthews leg thrill just thinking about it!!!

I think it's pretty telling that the dailycaller story doesn't actually link to the study anywhere. I couldn't find a link the Washington times article, either. In fact, no major news organizations are reporting on this study. And you can't find it on the healthpocket website.

This "study" sounds like it might not be an actual study.

OK.

We'll just continue pretending that Obamacare is absolutely wonderful.  For everybody.

Thanks for setting us straight.

Feel free to link the actual study so that someone other than the dailycaller can evaluate it. Or would you like me to post a dailykos article about how obamacare works?

Cause dailycaller = right wing dailykos

Yeah.  We want you to post it.

The mid terms will be a good indicator of what people really think of obamacare. In have a feeling exit polls will show healthcare weighed heavily on voters.

Pretty sure the Washington Times won't cut it either for bl...

Some "highlights" from the article:

1) The eye-popping increases among younger insurance buyers could be a problem for Obamacare’s long-term solvency given that young people need to enroll to offset the higher costs associated with older policyholders.

“Obviously they’re very important, and as much as they’re healthier, they tend to use health care less, so you want to try and have as many of those people enrolled as possible. And the cost for them went up very [steeply],”

2) The Affordable Care Act requires insurance policies to include 10 “essential health benefits,” including pediatric dental and vision care, maternity care and newborn care, even for policyholders with no children or whose children are adults.

#1 is a terrible reality that the left wants to continually ignore.

#2 How can this make sense to anyone?

That's not the actual study, genius. It's essentially the same thing tec posted, a right wing news source reporting on a study.

From the actual health insurance provider, preferred one- 63% increase

http://www.startribune.com/business/279332032.html

Highlights:

"Given the volatility of the individual marketplace due to the first year of the [federal health law], this increase is a significant step at stabilizing our rates and plans for the years to come,” the company said in a statement.

The announcement represents a startling turnaround for an insurer that offered some of the lowest premiums anywhere in the country in 2014.

It also promises to rekindle debate about whether the state Commerce Department misled consumers earlier this month by broadcasting that rates on MNsure would increase an average of 4.5 percent. PreferredOne wasn’t part of the calculation, Commerce officials said at the time, because it won’t be selling policies next year on MNsure. [preferredone dropped out of the exchange this year - last year they sold 33,000 of the 55,000 total policies sold on MNsure]
