jethroeg - 93-94 and 94-95 shaq

jethro noooo! what are you doing here? two of his highest min seasons! cant be the defense since you went with 97-98 shaq...im baffled

jpevans31 - 71-72 and 72-73 cliff ray

those are 2 of the 3 reasons why you would draft cliff ray! elite rebounding! the towels scare you off i guess? maybe the lower efg?

24kpyrite - 11-12 dwight

this one i kinda get...you paired 16-17 dwight with the best(89-90) ewing...im guessing you didnt need the extra usage and the higher efg/oreb was more important...id have a hard time passing up the higher mins/usg/def of 11-12 tho...3.7 fp48 in 11-12 too

pbandj - 89-90 and 90-91 rodman

3 seasons of rodman at pf....whhhyyyyyyy!!!! you have ben wallace and towns!...so i guess those 3 will form a roatation at the 4/5? thats a usage nightmare...i really think you needed a high usg backup for towns...maybe im a bit biased because i failed miserably playing him at pf, but rodman should always be at sf in savage

albiband0 - 68-69 wilt

71-72 has better defense(100 to 80) but thats about it...i dont think low usage 70s wilt should ever be used in savage...give me the extra paint scoring

chewy3344 - 97-98 duncan

im thinking it was the tov% and lower dreb%? tough to leave out 1000 more mins and +5 efg tho

raggedclaws - 06-07 dirk

no mvp dirk? gotta be the lower per% right? seems to be the only thing 16-17 has got on 06-07

benhoidal - 93-94 drob

lower efg% and dreb% then 94-95 but i always had a had a soft spot for mvp drob...i love the 14.7 ast% and he absolutely lives at the ft line

edsortails - 96-97 stockton

its the 2nd best stockton! and you needed the 3s

im guessing defense? its the best rebounding chandler with the 3rd most mins so i was a bit surprised

I've got 06-07 Dirk - check W1.

Dirk was a little tricky but I felt good about my selections - my toughest omission was probably 00-01 but I replaced it with 13-14, which I'm playing at SF for about 24 of his 32 minutes.

I have 94-95 DRob slightly higher than 93-94 as well, but agree it's close. 94-95 has the EFG, boards, and only 37 fewer makes from the line on 78 fewer attempts. $/min concurs, too, despite fewer mins and lower usage.

Agree with you on 11-12 Dwight, I've got that as 4th best with a fairly big gap between that and #5. But yeah in context I can see going with a lower usage season.

You got it with the towels, dh. My TOs were so high teamwide that I got scurred. Hoping my good rebs at PG/SG make up for that, but it might've been a bad call.

Well, walk through it with me... a few coaches who repeat in your divisions all have super high averages but at least have some people thinking they could have down seasons. History says they will crush it but if they do have down seasons then the people like you or dBKC who have "tough" divisions because they are lined up against them will be in good shape.

Last season I was supposed to have a cakewalk but it was dependent on jethro, pbandj and gerryred being as bad as expected and they were all much better so I went from among the easiest expected draws to a top five hardest draw.

The preseason averages for the divisions are usually a better predictor than Joe Shmo pointing his finger in the air... they are more right than wrong, but plenty of times they are wrong.

@dh: rooting for your team and having to watch ******* Tatum of all people get his **** together at the end is just disgusting. That ending was brutal. The 6ers have deprived me of Simmons tears, the sustenance on which I feed.

I have him as the sixth best per minute version. Total minutes gives him a slight edge over 1-4, but season 5 has even more minutes than that one so... it's tough.

Thoughts: This turned out better than I thought but worse than I hoped. I feel like I have two good teams, two whatever teams, and one absolute **** show. Shooting, dimes, and threes are nice, but defense, boards, and turnovers are less than desirable. Lack of steals and a low fouled% means fewer easy possessions and less punishment for teams who went high on TOs and PFs. I haven't looked at division layout yet.

There are no "easy" draws in Savage. There's only less difficult.

That said, I have ben 2x, rob 2x, and nc 2x, three guys I consider top 5 all-time in WISNBA, plus a host of other loaded owners. World 2, Division 4 looks like hell.
