Trump has the support of 39% of Republicans there, according to a new Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday. That's a nine-point advantage over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 30% support and a 15-point lead over John Kasich who had 24%. The Ohio governor has previously made the case that he could have a strong showing in Pennsylvania, where he was born.
Why didn't you mention this, from the same Quinnipiac article?

In head-to-head general election matchups:
  • Kasich buries Clinton 51 - 35 percent;
  • Kasich tops Sanders 46 - 40 percent;
  • Clinton gets 45 percent to Trump's 42 percent;
  • Clinton ties Cruz 43 - 43 percent;
  • Sanders tops Trump 48 - 40 percent;
  • Sanders beats Cruz 46 - 38 percent.

Uh oh:

Donald Trump’s campaign is increasingly falling into disarray as the Manhattan billionaire braces for a loss in Wisconsin that could set him on course for an uncertain convention floor fight for the Republican presidential nomination.
Since March, the campaign has been laying off field staff en masse around the country and has dismantled much of what existed of its organizations in general-election battlegrounds, including Florida and Ohio.

Last month, the campaign laid off the leader of its data team, Matt Braynard, who did not train a successor. It elevated his No. 2, a data engineer with little prior high-level political strategy experience, and also shifted some of his team’s duties to a 2015 college graduate whose last job was an internship with the consumer products company Colgate-Palmolive. Some of the campaign’s data remains inaccessible

Trump doesn't have anywhere near the money he claims to.
Exactly. Most of his "wealth" is how he values his personal brand.

Not sure how Trump's wealth is pertinent to his candidacy. Unless you're going to scream "LIAR!!!" like it means something when discussing politicians.

It is because he says he's the only one not taking money from big donors. Because, like he says, he's really, really rich.

Well, if he's laying off staff in important states he either isn't rich enough to fund the campaign or he doesn't think he'll win.

Why do people do any number of things?

Just don't know how that matters to his candidacy. If he's sabotaging himself, good.

I think Ryan is the GOP's best shot at winning, but if I had to bet, I'd say Cruz gets the nomination.
