I hope we have another great game trey but what I really want is a rematch from last years E8 with Thomas. Losing on a last second basket just kind of sticks with you. Being in the same bracket is definitely fate.

I am picking either Thomas or MBBC but am rooting for Brandeis. Come on LE I know you can do it.

I'm curious about tonight's Finlandia vs. Thomas matchup. Two very similar teams, same style, and both programs have experienced recent success.

Interesting matchup tonight McMurry vs Brandeis...that is all I am going to say about that.

As l_e alluded, seeds mean nothing in the WCAA to me any more. Many of the top teams in D3 in this world play each other OOC, as well as several very tough conferences cause several teams each year to suffer more losses than you'd normally expect.

Brandeis was my pick to make a run out of the teams in the Upstate. Wasn't sure how far they would go but it's not a surprise. And to echo others, seeding follows rankings to a degree. And rankings favor wins over strength of schedule.

For the most part the teams remaining faced stiff competition in conference play. Unless your name is barjaz, and then it doesn't matter. Good luck to all those .

And yes, McMurry vs Brandeis is going to very interesting to me. McMurry may just be the team to beat. Getting them to turn the ball over is the real test against them. In their only loss and close games, as few as they were, they shot very poorly.

That team has alot of weaknesses but collectively they are good. Coaches like you, flash and og are the ones that deserve the coy not me getting the most out of those teams is an accomplishment. Gl fellas hope im up for the challenge
