Brandeis was my pick to make a run out of the teams in the Upstate. Wasn't sure how far they would go but it's not a surprise. And to echo others, seeding follows rankings to a degree. And rankings favor wins over strength of schedule.
For the most part the teams remaining faced stiff competition in conference play. Unless your name is barjaz, and then it doesn't matter. Good luck to all those .
And yes, McMurry vs Brandeis is going to very interesting to me. McMurry may just be the team to beat. Getting them to turn the ball over is the real test against them. In their only loss and close games, as few as they were, they shot very poorly.
