1915 Boston Braves

In Round 1, the Braves team one year removed (1916) finished 24th out of 24. We have a lot of the same players.

In Round 1, the Braves team two years removed (1917) was the number one overall draft pick and finished number one overall with 107 wins. Of course, the two best pitchers and arguably the best hitter on that roster were not on the Braves team in 1915. Funny thing is, schwarze did not even bother to roster the hitter I refer to and still ran away with the top prize.

OK - you have me stumped. Which hitter did I forget to roster?

Yeah, I can't see anyone noteworthy that you left off. There's Joe Kelley (whose best seasons were in the 1890s and is not the same as the Joe Kelly who played for the '17 Braves). Otherwise, I'm stumped too.

Damn
The 25 Tigers have my vote for the Team-Likely-To-Have-the-Highest-Scoring-Offense-Of-The-Entire-Second-Round Award.

Instead, I will stay away from the Tigers and hide in the mediocrity of the remaining Braves’ franchises.

Give me the 1913 Braves.

That would be Jack "Chief" Meyers.

Baseball reference does not use certain nicknames that WIS uses.
