The dude hasn't remotely sniffed an answer to anything in about 55 years. That's about when his tiny brain said "NO, no more. I can't handle all this truth!!"
It's just too hard!!

Bob, he has sniffed many an answer. They are just all Bible based.

A few years ago, socialist Nathan J. Robinson made an admission that stunned much of the Left. He said he didn’t really believe climate change was a serious threat, even though in principle he supported environmentalist policies that treat it like one.

Of course, Robinson is far from the only leftist for whom this is true, even if he is unusually brave in saying so out loud. Climate change is one of the Left’s pet projects that is very easy to support in theory. But few progressives, if any, are actually willing to change their lifestyles over it. The Biden administration’s climate czar, John Kerry, continues to use his private jet every chance he gets. Barack Obama purchased a very expensive property in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, that will be underwater if there is anything to the climate alarmists' dire predictions. The majority of affluent residents on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., with “Climate Action Now!” signs on their front lawns park their gas-powered vehicles out front.

This sort of empty virtue-signaling is quite common on the Left these days — and not just on the issue of environmentalism. On immigration, too, progressives have proven in recent weeks that their commitment to provide “sanctuary” for illegal immigrants entering the country stops where their own backyards begin.

As Republican governors (and also a Democratic mayor) send busloads and planeloads of illegal immigrants to liberal enclaves such as New York City, Washington, D.C., and Martha’s Vineyard, Democratic officials scramble to come up with a way to make them stop. New York Mayor Eric Adams has threatened to take legal action against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott if he continues to send illegal immigrants to his city. California Gov. Gavin Newsom asked the Justice Department to open an investigation into the Republican governors’ “inhumane” transport of illegal immigrants. Ex-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton suggested the governors could be charged with “human trafficking” crimes.

Their reactions to the influx of immigrants into blue areas, which happen to have far more resources than small border towns, are ridiculous — not least because their own party's leader, President Joe Biden, has committed the exact same "crime" they’re trying to pin on Republican governors by flying illegal immigrants all over the country in secret.

Above all, the leftists' reactions have exposed their hypocrisy. Those yard signs about humans not being "illegal"? They're actually not so into it. Sanctuary cities? They never really meant to say they would harbor and protect all those immigrants.

Do Democrats not want illegal immigrants and asylum-seekers to be able to make a life for themselves in any part of the country they choose? Or were those policies only worth supporting when the consequences fell on dingy little border towns they never intended to visit?

It’s easy to say you support values and principles that cost you nothing. It’s much more difficult to live up to what those policies demand. It seems the Left is finally beginning to realize what Robinson discovered back in 2016 — that progressive policies are, in many cases, too unreasonable even for those who profess to believe in them.

The people in Massachusetts treated the immigrants with far more kindness than DeSantis was hoping. The issue is that most conservatives don't understand how the asylum system works, so they assume every person seeking asylum is an illegal immigrant when that's not actually true. DeSantis shipping the migrants to Martha's Vineyard essentially prevented the asylum seekers from being able to file the proper paperwork, and that can't happen at Martha's Vineyard; moreover, the area just wasn't ready for a bunch of people who don't have the proper paperwork to just be dumped into their locale. There isn't the infrastructure for that. If the immigrants were allowed to go through the legal system and THEN move to Massachusetts, I'm sure they would be welcomed.

There wasn't any hypocrisy, just cruel, inhumane, and illegal treatment of HUMAN BEINGS by DeSantis.

Hi Tang...

Biden has been flying migrants around the country for more than a year. FACT... The media looks the other way.

An Inflation Reduction Act that doesn't reduce inflation. Crime running rampant. Average family losing nearly $500 per month to an economy Biden just threw a party for. This is why a recent poll shows nearly 75% of DEMOCRATS don't want Brandon to run again. The administration's policies suck...

Hi Doctor...

Can you give an example of Biden flying migrants around the country before they can get the proper asylum documentation filled out and without their consent?

Thanks in advance, I'm sure you can back it up

President Joe Biden claimed on Wednesday that the United Statesexperienced “zero percent inflation in the month of July” while ignoring that the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ latest Consumer Price Index Report announced inflation rose 8.5% year-over-year.

On Wednesday, the Consumer Price Index Report revealed that the rate of inflation is down from June’s 9.1% inflation rate.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday confirmed reporting by the New York Post that the Biden administration has been quietly flying underage illegal immigrants from the border to New York in the dead of night.

During a press briefing, a reporter asked why the administration is “flying thousands of migrants from the border to Florida and New York in the middle of the night.”

“Well I’m not sure it’s in the middle of the night." said Psaki.

Bodycam footage released through a Freedom of Information Act request shows federal contractors dropping off migrants at the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., last summer, with one contractor on the scene saying the Biden administration was “betraying the American people.”

The Biden administration flew migrants from the southern border to the Westchester airport in the middle of the night from mid-August through October, the New York Post first reported last year.

New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino obtained the footage, a 51-minute clip from the body camera of Westchester Police Sgt. Michael Hamborsky on August 13, 2021.

New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino obtained the footage, a 51-minute clip from the body camera of Westchester Police Sgt. Michael Hamborsky on August 13, 2021. In the footage, Hamborsky can be heard questioning federal contractors and lamenting the lack of adherence to security procedures at the airport. Some of the contractors were employees of MVM Inc., according to the Post, a firm that signed a contract with the federal government to transport illegal immigrants to locations throughout the country.

“You’re on a secure facility here; we really don’t know anything and we’re in charge of security,” Hamborsky tells a contractor at one point. Hamborsky is able to learn that a plane with 142 migrants arrived at the airport at 11:48 p.m. on August 12.

“Listen, my thing is I like to comply but technically we’re not supposed to show IDs or anything. Like I said, everything is supposed to be hush-hush,” one of the contractors tells Hamborsky at one point.

“You want to try and be as down low as possible,” another contractor says. “A lot of this is just down-low stuff that we don’t tell people because what we don’t want to do is attract attention. We don’t want the media. Like we don’t even know where we’re going when they tell us.”

Later on, Hambursky asks a third contractor why the operation is being conducted in high secrecy.

“You know why. Because if this gets out, the government is betraying the American people,” the contractor replies.

Border Patrol agents encountered over 2 million illegal immigrants at the southern border in 2021, likely the highest level in over 20 years. Over 38,000 unaccompanied children were apprehended during the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

If you have an IRA or a 401k you sure as hell are seeing it, the market is in the toilet...

We have seen TRILLIONS of dollars of wealth go bye bye...
The S&P 500 is about the same now as it was when DJT left office.
Ten dollars will now buy you what 7 dollars would buy just three short years ago. Do you understand this?

1. These are asylum seekers, not illegal immigrants. They haven't broken any law. Biden was flying them AFTER they filed the paperwork. The entire reason why people were shipped to other places was because there is overflow at our holding facilities because of bad immigration policy by Democratic and Republican administrations.
2. Biden didn't ship people around without their consent or by lying to them
3. Trump did the same thing and none of you people were outraged.

You went 0/2 on my requirements, Doug.

Can you give an example of Biden flying migrants around the country before they can get the proper asylum documentation filled out and without their consent?

Reminder of the requirements I'm looking for since these are the two issues I have with what DeSantis did.

Also, y'all gotta do the bare minimum research on the asylum process. Every time you call asylum seekers "illegal immigrants," you show how ignorant you are.

9/26/2022 9:43 PM

moreover, the area just wasn't ready for a bunch of people who don't have the proper paperwork to just be dumped into their locale. There isn't the infrastructure for that

It was 50 folks.
Do you think Texas, Florida and Arizona ARE ready and DO have the infrastructure for the hundreds of thousands of folks (about 1/3 of whom are NOT asylum seekers)?
9/26/2022 10:56 PM (edited)
Martha's Vineyard is a unique situation because it's a remote area with no job opportunities. Also, the immigrants were literally lied to by DeSantis.

When I say "don't have the infrastructure for that," I'm not even referring to housing and ability to live in the area necessarily, I'm referring for infrastructure to follow the legal process to seek asylum. The migrants applied for asylum in Texas, so that's where the court date would be scheduled. Randomly flying them to a remote area off of Massachusetts while lying to them about the flight makes it really difficult for those asylum seekers to follow the legal procedure. It's essentially an intentional effort to trap the migrants into not being able to show up to court or breaking the law.

As for hundreds of thousands in Texas and Arizona, that's why Biden was flying migrants across the country. No one has an issue with migrants being flown to cities with work opportunities while they wait for a trial; that's the whole point of catch and release. The problem with what DeSantis did is that he lied to the migrants about where they were going, didn't contact anyone in Massachusetts, and dumped the migrants to a remote area outside of where the infrastructure for help was.

Liberal cities don't have a problem with immigrants; they accept migrants all the time. Even in this situation the people on the ground did a fantastic job with the humanitarian efforts and the migrants seem to be safe now.

I say this totally seriously, in a just world DeSantis should be criminally convicted for what he did. Even outside of the grotesque cruelty to people who did nothing wrong, it's a total waste of millions of taxpayer dollars, something that I thought conservatives cared about.
