While I personally prefer the Pro Set and the 3-4, lots of great thoughts and analysis in the initial post. That type of thinking and strategy allows someone to become a top tier coach.

I run exclusively 4-4 (due to how poorly I recruit DBs) and this post helped develop my framework - I've been able to evolve it and I love all the options out of this Defense

I picked it back up after a fairly long layoff.....3-4 is my main D but that extra beef on the front line is inspiring

Just when I think that I'm becoming a decent coach, I read posts like the original post from Jargon and I realize that there are coaches here who are light-years beyond me. Light-years.

I hear you. After reading this, I realize I haven't even begun to understand the depth of this game. No wonder I'm perennial 1st/2nd rd playoff cannon fodder.
