DH $52M Draft League LXII - Rosters and Commentary Topic

I'm old so to me there are 3 options but in recent draft history just 2 options and 1 main option.

We may need to rethink the unlimited time limit for round 1 drafting.

Or what if we have a a page for people to confirm that they are all ready to start before the draft begins? We don't start picking until all of the owners say that we are ready to go. It's too much work for dh555 to take care of all of this.

how about 24 hours per pick in round 1. that seems simple enough.

would be nice if dh were around to give us some guidance.

Literally about to suggest this. I think DH should make the pick and if Milest comes back, great. If he needs to be replaced, I'd take the team. Historically, the data says there are only two options.

Yes, the 24 hour rule that bds9992 has suggested is a great idea. Plus it is very simple and easy to understand.

No not yet. It's kind of too late now.

Plus, you never know milest may have had an urgent matter to deal with that came up. I don't want to be a judge . . . but it's fun to evalute draft picks. Too bad pennsylvania took exactly who I thought he would. It would have been nice to get an old timer picked from the 60's or 70's picked at # 5 so that the rest of the talent would have dropped down a spot.

I think that dh555 has won at least 5 times.

uvasooner has won 4 times I think.

Then I think that you, me and mikee1? have won 3 times each. There might be more owners that have won 3 times.

Several have won twice I recall.

That's prettty close.

I asked if he could weigh in on what we should do to get things moving.

Welcome to the NEW AMERICA - why would anyone expect somebody who signs up and pays for a draft league to actually participate - SENSITIVITY ALERT, SENSITIVITY ALERT -

I keep pointing this out each season -- AND NOTHING EVER HAPPENS - other than DH555 inferring that I'm the one who lacks understanding.

Maybe if Stormy Daniels was part of the discussion there would be a degree of motivation to engage; REMEMBER, Stormy Daniels - the performing artist - is portrayed as a victim, and Monica Lewinsky - a college graduate and daughter of an affluent Beverly Hills Doctor - was portrayed as merely one engaging in nothing more than consensual sex. How ironic, Stormy complains about getting paid ($130,000) for doing what she otherwise does for a living - getting paid to $#@%*^

Alas, recognize that I'm the one who is apparently out of touch - all the while 23 owners wait for 1 to do that which he/she/it signed up to do!

Kind of reminds me of the nuts who want to complain about gun violence and protest to prevent the sale of assault rifles - ALL THE WHILE THE CARNAGE IN CHICAGO AND EVERY OTHER INNER CITY centers on hand guns resulting from drugs, lawlessness and the lack of any moral compass.

Of course, I'm still trying to understand the urgency of GLOBAL WARNING - or is now Climate Change - seeing that all those who espouse gloom and doom and cite "studies" evidencing that coastal cities will be inundated and lost forever because of rising ocean levels fail to answer the SIMPLE QUESTION:

WHEN ARE THEY (GOVERNMENT) GOING TO START BUILDING SOMETHING TO PREVENT THE OCEANS FROM OVERTAKING THE CITIES?
