I have read and re-read the forums, trying to figure this game out. My first, and only team had a 7 game winning streak, sweeping both teams that swept me to open the season. In between those streaks,, I visited the WW several times, and as I came to understand(?) the game better, I'd like to think I made better choices. then I lost 5 in a row. now i am on a 3 game winning streak. during the winning streak, hitters came thru with "clutch" hits, or defenders made errors at clutch times. Or my pitchers got the key outs. That has been a pretty consistent factoring event. I am guessing that a "fly ball double" is a ball that a better defender might have caught, for example. I don't expect much from my first team, but i certainly am hopeful. I have looked at a lot of leagues, and while I do not have the experience to be "respected," I hope I raise a valid point and contribute to the discussion. My point is that often, a games' outcome hinges on a single event, and sometimes, for several games in succession, they do or don't go your way. But being up 3-0 in the TOC and losing the last four...that might lead one to go postal, if we could ever find Sparky!!!
