One league I have going right now, I'm very confident my team will hit more HR than it allows, but I'm also fairly confident 90% of the teams in the league will out-homer me...so I picked a pitcher's park that limits HR, which will screw opponents more than it will me.

Agree w/ a lot of others. .360 OBP is average. Assume it will be lower in your league.

You may have made the same mistake I did a few times by trying to field 8 solid hitters vs. 6 studs, 1 ok, and 1 gimme. It really does seem to make a difference.

The bottom line is your key guys SP or Leadoff, #3 and #4 hitters have to deliver or you are sunk.

Your fielding can either help or hurt your pitchers. If they are not strikeout guys, you need better range, etc.

A word of warning about the Kingdome: It will absolutely murder your team AVG and OBP. However, you'll hit loads of dingers if your team is built for it.

Maybe a one season sample size is too low, but all my players are underperforming by AVG and OBP. Not too bad on the dingers front, and helped my pitching tremendously though.
