House Republicans passed a bill on Tuesday that would let employers in the private-sector give workers paid time off instead of overtime pay.

The bill passed 229 to 197, and was largely along party lines, theWashington Postreports. No Democrats voted for the bill, and only six Republicans voted against it.

Well, she won the popular vote in California. A state that elects actors as governors. She lost the popular vote in the other 49 states. Where she was fundamentally unlikable and unelectable.
And I thought Ronny was chosen by God so you cons could have your own saint!
Who are "you cons"?

My staff was given this exact choice about 5 years ago. 8 out of 11 choose the extra time off.
WAY TO BE IN TOUCH WITH REALITY LIBERAL JACKAZZ.

(P.S. Still waiting to hear why you want to give-away a Country you supposedly worked so hard to defend.)

Trump, when asked if he stands by his claim that Obama wire tapped him, says, "I don't stand by anything."

Sounds about right.

Wait if you like but since you assume all members of any group believe the exact same thing at all times it would be senseless to have an open conversation with you.

I'm not the one who believe all Democrats (or anyone else) are great and all Republicans (or anyone else) are idiots. I don't vote straight-Party in elections. That's what idiots like you and b_l do. You really should quit, because you just keep making yourself look dumber and dumber, even after we thought that was impossible.

I'm not thrilled about this bill. I run a lean staffing model as is and I'd rather pay OT when needed then give more paid time off. My employees on the other hand only get two weeks of vacation each year and they'd want more time with their families over OT pay. The problem I'd have is that their extra paid time off would mean I need to have more employee OT to staff while that employee is out of the office (which means more PTO which exasperates the problem). I'm all for keeping OT as is.

You don't just get to remove the largest state like it doesn't matter.
I think most people agree... California really doesn't matter.

The best part is that the company gets to decide when you take the paid time off.

Still problematic..... also for the record, companies already decide when you take time off. Try 'telling' your boss you're taking time off and see what happens.
