I hope they don't impeach him. If they do and Pence is sworn in until the inauguration, I fear Pence will pardon Trump. I'd rather he face whatever consequences he may have to face for his actions. (all3, notice I did not say he was guilty of anything, just that I want him to face the consequences of his actions, if there are any.)
