dig this comment. I'm a bit younger, played All Star but mainly Strat-o-matic and have a son and daughter, younger kids than Redz which keeps me young. other than those minor differences, I agree with everything Redzman says....

48..played "baseball" with baseball card lineups and the 33 card game included w/Topps cards in the late 60's, later with APBA and Tony Larussa 2....saw my first game at Sportsman's park right before Busch was built. Cut my eye teeth on Brock, Flood, Gibby, Cha Cha and the late 60's Cardinal Gang. Loved Whiteyball and will always be thankful that Lasorda pitched to Clark in 85. Not a big Larussa fan, but marvel at the gift that is Pujols...starting my fifth season soon and have managed to keep a winning record and have fun...WIS is cheap entertainment with a baseball soul!!!

31 years old. started simming with Earl Weaver baseball on a Amaga (spelling) computer, which my dad later upgraded to include a harddrive (and i questioned if we needed one). My brother, a freind and I replayed the whole 1988 season after redrafting the teams. we also included Lou Gehrig and Maury Wills best season just for fun. Gehrig won the triple crown. I guess that was kind of my first "what-if" experience. To bad I didnt know of Duffy and O'Neil at the time.
