I disagree. I think the corporate response will be minimal. Most companies provided health benefits before the law required it. No reason for them to stop now.
Based on my experience - many companies are moving to high deductible plans. I.e. first $5,000-$12,000 is out of pocket. That's gonna sting the non-savers which is the majority of people in the US. Hopefully these people are smart enough to use a HSA.
Maybe I'm wrong. We shall see.

May be the case.... You could argue it was already happening and that the intended mandates actually accelerated the process.
But the reality is up until last year my wife's job offered affordable low deductible plans - now they have no low deductible plans. She works at a major hospital.
My employer, a major bank, still offered one low deductible plan but the premiums shot waaaay up. Of course with 2 kids I took the low deductible plan despite the higher premiums. Good thing too since we've accrued over $80,000 in medical expenses this year.
