kybjones, you are going to the PIT at worst...

wrono - I see you beat me to 100. I am sure I will catch up with you soon enough.
10/17/2007 7:24 PM
yeah, and to commemorate it, i chose to lose to a crappy SIM team. Thanks for nothing.
10/17/2007 11:23 PM
Well, my next loss will be my 100th. The question is what round will it be in. I don't really like my first round match-up. Even if my team goes on a roll, I have been placed in the same bracket as Emory, the same team that has knocked me out of the tourney the past 2 seasons.
GL to everyone.

Any one hear from Old Westburry's coach? They dropped like a rock. I hope nothing has happened.

havent heard anything, just assumed that they were abandoned... and bugs, i lost again last night and will likely go out tonight to NYU or tomorrow night to Emory. arrgh.

A near miss for Manchester with the 58 RPI and 4 SOS. Oh well, I'll try to strike gold in the PIT again.

2 of the 3 teams that beat NCWC this year just happen to be the 1 and 2 seeds in our bracket..and there's a potential 2nd round rematch with St. Olaf, who we snuck past on a buzzer-beater in non-conf..anyone else ever get the feeling the committee just sets things like that up on purpose?

as defending champ, you are not allowed to complain about what the committee has done to you. ever. ;)

oh dont worry, my team blows. We managed to lose to a team that had no goddamn business beating us.

That was the shocker of the first round. Now if someone can just beat Emory...

I will give it my best shot, but am not loving my chances right now.

congrats on the win wronoj, too bad (for me anyways) it came at the expense of a conference mate; you're costing me recruiting dollars :)
I dispensed of my sim opponent w/ relative ease last night, now the task at hand gets significantly tougher. Union's got a great squad, and if I can get past them, I get E Texas Baptist who has one of the top 2 overall team ratings (either them or Becker lead, can't remember which, they're pretty close). Get that far, and a great Kalamazoo squad is looking me in the face, baring upsets. Seems like the NT here in wooden is always well represented by great, great ball clubs.
g/l to all in round 2 (except Union)

I'd say it's a toss-up, wronoj. Your guys are monsters on the boards.

taz, that is the damn Union team that beat me in OT in the CT finals... but i still have to root for them to get some extra cash. I was surprised to win as easily as i did last night-- NYU was a tough 1st-round matchup.
nfentre, i think you have an edge... i know no 1-seed wants to play a team that can rebound as well as mine this early, but we are not quite where I would like to be this season. Happy to have made it this far, sad I have to play Emory.
