Excited for the evals! I think I'm finally finished tinkering with my squads, this is how the minutes came out, sorted roughly by size.
2 Lillard, Damian 147.4
8 Mitchell, Donovan 58.2
12 Rozier, Terry 34.5
5 Iguodala, Andre 129.7
9 Melton, De'Anthony 62.2
11 Buse, Don 48.1
4 Marshall, Donyell 113.2
7 Davis, Ed 92.6
10 Jackson Jr, Jaren 54.7
3 Kemp, Shawn 137.9
6 Nowitzki, Dirk 165.1
1 Gobert, Rudy 156.6

My averages are looking like 55.4% EFG, 126.7% CREB%, 57.3 AST%, 10.1 SPG and 9 BPG, 78.4% FT shooting, 17.9 TOPG, 19.3 FPG, and 69.9 average defense. I wish the assists were higher and the fouls lower, but I'm not too broken up about either. Every position except SF for a few moments is covered with 70+ defense at all times, but Dirk and Dame still drag the overall defense down.

Oh and my usage is higher than normal - averaging 110 when I'm usually closer to 105 though I always have the usage points locked down. Curious to see if this is beneficial, or if I'm just shooting myself in the foot by taking shots away from Rudy.

(New York) BREAKING NEWS - Due to a sprained ankle, Jimmy Butler was unable to play in game two vs. the New York Knicks, but was still able to score 15 points, with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and two blocked shots.

me, ty84moss, jkaye24, benhoidal, chewy3344, albiband0 and 24kpyrite all look to be on the extreme lows of the minutes thresholds. Luckily (or maybe unfortunately for me), with maybe one exception, that is a list of coaches who can navigate such a landmine. I thought it would be a much bigger list. dh555 ncmusician_7 and berkelon also somewhat low.

As of right now, Miami is playing Cody Zeller and four guards and they are winning...

I really wish this GS - LA series wasn't so late. I can't stay up past midnight to watch this (old man). Looks like Thursday is a 9pm and Saturday an 830 so that's better.

And why is NY - Miami getting 3 days off? Did they move that to accommodate Butler's rehab?

ps. No Celtics talk here please. Thank you.

Hey Rob - All of my teams have between 23k and 25k minutes, so now I'm worried that I'm forgetting something about the rules! What did you mean that I'm somewhat low? I thought I was crazy high!

I think he means getting to ~19300 minutes without using seasons that aren’t of the highest quality. We all have far more minutes than needed on each team, but we all also are trying to avoid playing our 11th man’s 4th best season. So usually we DNP the worst seasons of our worst players, and being “light on minutes” means you have to play those guys more than you hoped to.

Rob is also a Savage genius who I think has spreadsheets of each of our teams and fills them in with the presumed usable/top seasons of your draft picks. Like he probably knows my team better than I do

As picks are made, my workbook auto-tabulates the likely best five seasons using some easy short hand math (or best seasons if less than five) into each team. This lets me quickly look at that teams as they are being built. So for example, I can go to the teams page and at a glance I can expand jkaye's team and see that he probably ended up with ~49 seasons with an average of 21.3k minutes per team available per team. Chances are that all of those minutes are not good so he is probably up against it in terms of team building. But also, jkaye is one of the handful of best coaches around and he was probably so meticulous that he accounted for almost every second selected. I can see berkelon ended up with 60 seasons averaging around 24.8k which is also on the low end of the spectrum. Assuming a couple of seasons of wasted seasons per squad it could be tricky for one of the newer additions to the league, although berkelon learns quickly. That is all I was getting at. I actually have no idea which seasons people use and I don't try and guess. There is too much science to team building based on fit, etc. I just have some simple logic in there that looks at a couple key things, scores each seasons and ranks them to identify the "best" seasons for each player. Using that system, here is my output on the average minutes for each team.

Mostly where it helps is seeing where teams are in the aggregate during the draft like "low on rebounding," "high on assists," "low on threes" so I can make some guesses on what they might do in their upcoming picks and use that to strategize my own picks.
