Some people are just not equipped to think for themself and a whole lot of it is the attraction to a man that says he is the closest thing there is to God.

Some people seek autocrats. Those people in their brain think of Jesus as the ultimate autocrat and demigod and demagogue. After all he is about the following:

1. he is responsible for deciding who can get into heaven.
2. if you do not accept him in a certain way before you die you make his “enemies list” and go to hell.
3. He can conspire with your enemy be it Caesar - pay him his tax and the other days Putin is an honest man - he never interfered.
4. He tells you to turn on your own family members - and listen only to him the other he bashed the institutions of society - the temple or the government or the military etc
5. one says he is the way and the other says he is the way and only he can fix it.
6. one tells a follower to commit a crime of murder for money and te other tells his VP to murder the democracy
7. one says the simple shall inherit everything and the other instructs the simple to take everything by force.

Sime people are tailor made to see Trump as having a likeness to Jesus. As time goes on they envision trump as being more and more like Jesus and Jesus more and more the inverse.
They are hardwired to seek the exaltation and apotheosis of Trump as a supreme leader. The hardwired Germans did the same with Hitler and they destroyed Christianity praying to Hitler as a deity.
So it does not surprise me.

They are highly credible and what they testify to is crucial.
