I’m not upset at all. You’re just a frustrating and toxic person. My life is peaceful because I avoid toxic people. Bob and me agree on very little from a policy prescription standpoint, but I just offered to buy him a $500 round of golf because he is a good person. I get along with almost every person on here that is left of center: Bob, Tang, Taint, B_L before he left. Ideological disagreements don’t make one side or the other evil. It just means that you disagree. Civil disagreement is healthy and can lead to a thriving, productive society. It’s the best way to come up with good, democratic solutions.

As far as you being rational, please reread the last part of your most recent post. You just argued that a baby in a womb has no value because they look like “pigs”. If people that look like pigs have no value then the majority of America is screwed.

And yes, I think the democrats platform on gun control is stupid and wouldn’t work. I do applaud them for attempting to come up with solutions. That’s more than I’ve done. I don’t have any solutions. But like I said, doing something just for the sake of doing something is not a good idea. Most ideas are bad regarding all subjects. You keep brainstorming until you get a good one. The problem that I have with the left is that they say anyone who doesn’t agree with their bad solutions is evil and wants children to die.

I was labeled as hateful in many of my posts and I say that I am vituperous in that regard. It is perfectly reasonable to describe a lot of posts in that way.

1. I HATE Trump and express it. Tell me how that is wrong.

You are very well entitled to that belief, but I will disagree. I think because another life is involved and we are literally talking about life or death, everyone has a moral obligation to speak up. But you have to remember that slavery was once (legal) abuse. It is no longer legal because people with no direct vested interest spoke out and we are a signficantly better country for it. The same argument that is used for abortion was used by slave owners. "It's my property. Don't tell me what to do with my property."

I agree with you that speaking out against child abuse should be done with great caution. People parent in different ways and should be free to do so. But we should all be able to agree that stabbing a human being in the head and sucking their brains into a sink is clearly abuse of the highest measure.

I do appreciate your libertarian leanings. Our world would be much better if more people minded their own business and let people live life where they see fit up to the point that they infinge on someone else's right. But it is undeniable that abortion impedes another's right to life, the ultimate right.
