tangplay is yet another person who chooses to ignore Islam. He instead makes Pence jokes. Fact is in Islam it is widely believed that the death penalty is fine for women who cheat, for men who are gay and for apostasy. He cannot deny it so he makes stupid jokes.
Until the Dems admit this I am never voting for a Dem again.
Islam is not a religion of murder.
1. Death penalty: Exists in America
2. Vice president: Wants conversion therapy for gays.
I hear cccp1014 has a Putin poster on his wall.
several
How many Mohammed posters do you have on yours?
Anyone who does not want to kill Muslims or to praise Jews is a Muslim. Got it. Thanks.
Anyone who turns a blind eye and doesn't see Islam as an ideology not just a religion is a fool.
Boris. I'm old and tired today...... and I don't want to try and figure this out via research........ besides I think it's YOUR view that matters on this question........ so, please, would you explain to ME (remember I'm old and tired) what the difference is (in Your Mind) between an ideology and a religion? I don't think I know, actually. The belief in Mormonism (LDS Faith), for example (to me) is clearly a religion. Is it not (also) an ideology?
Sure Bob, in my humble opinion only.
Religion: Belief and often times worship of a higher power (God). In that belief there is a system of thought and tradition including marriage, afterlife and often times other aspects that cannot be explained by either science or logic.
Ideology: A view and or system of ideas based on logic, world view and political theory.
For example in the US, Christianity is the most prevalent religion. "In God we Trust". We have a separation of church and state. Just because Cardinal Smith believes that people who don't go to Church on Sundays should be punished doesn't mean our laws state as such. It is his opinion and people may leave their respected religions at any time. They may convert, etc.
In Islam it is one in the same. The Koran aka their bible is also their constitution. Apostasy is punishable by death in many countries as an example. Their Imams same as our Cardinals/Bishops are also their true leaders. It would be like a Cardinal also being a Senator and a Judge and Jury.
I would say our ideology in the US is Freedom and in say the KSA it would be Autocracy.
Just my 2 cents on how I see it.
