I’m not saying it won’t go higher but the average gas prices nationwide are slightly above exactly $4.00 per gallon. Like everything else the highest prices are in California.
The prices are just about the same as they were in early 2008 before the recovery began.
Out here in Vancouver's Fraser Valley. GAS is $2.10 a liter. An American gallon is about 4 liters. You do the math and that's $8.40 a liter, and in US$ Dollars, that is ~ = $6.15 U$

Canada keeps on shovelling money off the back of the truck. NO PROBLEM, we will just print more of it. They used to call this counterfeiting

There is no question that Ukraine has killed many thousands of Russian troops. Ukraine says it is 1000
per day for 11,000.

Even if it is 6,000 that would be equivalent to almost 14,000 USA troops.
In the Vietnam War the USA had 58,000 casualties over a 10 year war.



Can you imagine the firestorm going on here if there were 14,000 dead in 11 day especially in a hated and despised war that was not warranted.

To be a fly on the wall in private discussions of his generals and inner circle.
And the Ukraines are like military savants.
Wait until they start getting reinforcements in weapons
and upgrades and planes.

What Could Happen Next?

If there is escalation and Russia wants to retaliate against the USA and the western alliance what could happen?
It is almost impossible to imagine Russia engaging in other conventional wars given there abject failure and continuing slaughter in Ukraine.
And their military is now spread thin and they know they are disorganized and poorly trained; obviously.
So they would have only 2 options available.
An all out cyber war and second, nuclear saber
rattling.
Lets not think any further then that and it never will get that far with Putin in power because he would be taken out before it could reach that point.
