I'm not whinning, or winning. I'm bein me. Which is a feat in itself. I didn't understand the whole Crystal Skull ending of Indiana Jones 4. Creeper GL I hope you finally Championship. Then you'll have your 15 minutes. I'm still retired but not really in a way.

Great question. The checks are suppose to start rolling out in May based on social security numbers. They are all suppose to be out by July from what I read. Gas is rumored to be heading toward $4 a gallon however I doubt it. Meida loves to scare us and despite the high prices I think $3.50 may be the top. But who knows for sure. I think we need to leave Iraq quickly. Kick out all the bumbs in Congress and email the snot out of all our reps we are tired of the high gas prices. Although I will disclose I own Exxon stock so I enjoy my dividends.

GM closing 4 SUV plants. Sorry to see people lose jobs I hope it means we are getting more high MPG cars. What is the used SUV market looking like now? Are people dumping their Hummers for a Prius? Obama for Pres...Hope not...but isn't it the crazy activist groups with agendas we should attack rather than Obama? Like Peta, Moveon.org, PFHC(People For High Cholesterol),Rainbow Coalition, Pittsburg Pirates etc I think Mike Brady said it best, "A gift is only a good thing when the giver has given thought to that gift. But when the gift the giver gives gives grief, then that gift should give the givee regrets. "

Jetta TDI--they only way to go. have one I bought new now with 70k miles and averaged nearly 50 mpg the entire time I've owned it.

I think the only positive to come out of this is we come up with better ways to conserve and save money while oil companies screw us over. Find alternatives to oil. More drilling may help but it seems that now with oil companies getting $4 dollars a gallon they are conditioning us to the higher prices so we probably won't see a price reduction in a while.
