Round 2 was a mixed bag for me. I improved on my awful Round 2 performance last year. I ended the regular season in 2019 with 439 wins, good enough for 24th. I had 496 this year, a 57-game improvement, but I was hoping for more. My model forecast 555 wins, which I knew was unlikely. I finished 59 wins below that, due to several factors: stiff competition in the cage; not drafting enough IP, especially in the 90M; not selecting the 2005 Yankees as my base team in the 70M; drafting errors like not good enough OBP at the top of the order and poor SP I had to use a lot; and poor team management which exacerbated my fatigue problems. Still, a big improvement over last year, and I have two playoff teams instead of one. I'll be back next year, and hopefully make some noise in this tournament and get noticed like d_rock did this year.
