I didn't realize they had lockouts in fantasy sports.  Maybe the WIS is getting so realistic that the 2009-10 class is holding out for a better deal?  They could have hand-tabulated the changes by now.  Anyway, while we're waiting, any particular 09-10 players that you guys are looking forward to using?  Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant jump to mind for me.

maybe they're planning to release 09-10 and 10-11 players in one batch.  more efficient that way.

09-10 Durant will be a force in upcoming leagues... especially if he's 100% as a SG.  Tons of ftas at a high %, good amount of threes... great TS% with a reasonably low tov% for someone who handles the ball as much as he does.  Rebounding is kind of weak for a 3, but great for a 2.  Defense should be good, too.  He won't be on Jordan/Lebron level for the 2, but he probably will be on the Kobe/Pierce/McGrady level.

As I said before, seble should have just released the 09-10 players and do the release when it was ready. It would have not taken much work to release the 09-10 players using the current formula. I think they had it done a few days (<week) after defensive awards were given out last season. Then no one would be bothering him to rush the release. Another example of poor judgment by seble. Heck, while he was working on the update he could be gathering feedback about the 09-10 players.

I bet baseball folks would not accept this nonsense.

I still disagree with you, Shine.  I'm not interested in using broke 09-10 players.  I could care less about using those particular players.  If they had released the rosters as is, then they wouldn't do the separate release with the fixed PE and def rating.  We'd instead be having this same conversation in June of 2011.

That's just my opinion, though.

I just got an e-mail from Durant's agent: he said unless he's worth more than most Wilt seasons, he's not going to be included... also, Dragic and Vujacic killed each other and won't be included...


None of us have lives, do we? This is great!

It's amazing how ridiculous a player's demands can be. Tell Durant's agent he should worry first about having the best statistical season of his own year before he starts comparing himself to historical players.
