it's irrelevant the position played.
PS - the team got squashed by tadmand in the playoffs. Crazy ast% is still ringless.
From what I have found, having 4-5 guys who are effective passers, works better than having 1 or 2. Even when the total for the 5 on the floor is similar. A team with 27, 17, 6, 15, 15 (approx ast %s) is averaging 36 ast/game in a competitive league. They're sim shooting stats are far better than in RL, and they will win their division unless tey have an epic meltdown in the last 10 games. That is a total ast % of 80. Not 'extreme'. I have seen and made MANY teams with more total ast %, but with less effectiveness.. I conclude bc those ast% are mostly coming from 1 (stockton) or 2 players with may be a decent 3rd guy (maybe not). This actually correlates to RL. If an NBA team has 4-5 effective passers on the floor, it is one of the best things in the world to watch. But it translates to WIS bc it translates into more open & easy shots. Sure, Stockton or Thomas or Magic will make 1-3 great passes/game that lead to easy buckets, but a lineup of say, Billups, Barry, Bird, K Malone, & Noah will lead to more- bc the ball & the players are constantly moving & every single player has outstanding court vision... and would be a thing of beauty to see in RL. My brother (who I work with & is my roommate) and a few other guys that we work with are on here.. We've only played in the same league once (right now actually) and we have noticed the same thing. One of us will be testing a low efg% (approx 50) with 140%+ ast % team soon. (In the Banned Players league)
