Obama: Worst President Ever? Topic

Yeah but, if you don't have a platform or record worth mentioning, it's better to say "But that guy......." while pointing a finger.

It's also not a secret that Obama supporters want to talk about horses, elevators, tax returns, etc, etc, because talking about the economy, unemployment, foreign relations, the deficit, etc, etc, won't favor their candidate.

It's also funny (in a hypocritical kind of way) how the Obama camp is demanding to see Romney's tax returns NOW, while Obama dragged his feet for two years to produce his birth certificate.  And is still refusing to release his college records.

Oh, great.  A "But Bush...." post.

Tell me how Obama's policies will make America a better place to live and do business.
Just addressing the fallacy of Republicans somehow being able to reign in the deficit. Deficits only seem to matter when a Democratic President is the White House. When it's a Republican, the deficit can not get in the way of tax cuts for the rich.

Pretty sure they matter all the time.    The only time they don't matter is when libs seek support for their candidate.    Then it's "They did it too!!!"

If deficits do matter all the time, then why did the Repubs who controlled the Presidency, House, and Senate from 2001-2006 run up deficits through tax cuts?

Because they were STUPID.

What is your point exactly? Deficits AREN'T bad?

As I've said EVERY conservative had a BIG problem with Bush's spending.

You seem to be saying  "meh deficits are no biggie, even W ran up the deficit, so who cares".

The 2001 tax cut bill had no republican house nays. The 2003 tax cut bill had one republican house nay (Jim Leach).

Must not have been any conservatives in the legislature those years.

Spending like a drunken sailor is the first issue to address absolutely. Been needing to be addressed for decades now.

No amount of taxes will solve the inability to control spending.
