But somehow you don't understand that allowing slightly more inflation is acceptable if it means unemployment goes down.

So I'm assuming you have some sort of guarantee that inflation will lower unemployment?

And that the guy with the $100 to spend that became $95 in value will soon see his money worth $100 again?

No one could guarantee that.  If a guarantee was required anytime you set any policy that had any possibility of a downside, nothing would ever get done.
