Obama: Worst President Ever? Topic

I thought I answered this.  Several times.

I don't care.   If they want to get married, fine.   If the state wants to deny them, fine.    If a gay couple asks me to perform the ceremony, sure, I'll do it for a price.  It won't be legal, in any state, but I'll say "Do you take this man......." if they pay me enough.
I guess I have no argument against, "I got mine, you're on your own." Still, I don't why you'd go on for 30+ pages with forays into what "some people think" is immoral. I thought you preferred brevity.

Allowing same sex marriage doesn't force anything on you.  You can still choose to marry or not.  Or stay married.  Or get divorced.  Or remarry. Or anything else you want to do.  Your values are still yours to live by.
Of course it forces something onto me.  It forces a re-definition of marriage on me.  One which I (and millions and millions of Americans) do not agree with.
Same sex marriage is already happening.  Has your marriage changed?
It's been re-defined, yes.  The institution of marriage has been cheapened by turning it into something that it traditionally has never been for thousands of years of human history because of the demands of a small special-interest group.
You do realize you could apply that exact same "logic" to interracial marriage, right?

So your answer is no?
My answer is "None of the above".

I know you're thinking that you're a clever person, trying to paint me into a corner with an unfair question, one that you know I cannot answer fairly.  Too bad for you that I'm not stupid enough to fall into that trap.

If you want to claim that as your little victory for the night, go for it.  Hooray for you!

What a tool you are.

If one was racist, I'm sure they could.

Soooo lame. You agreed to answer a yes or no question.

There was nothing unfair about the question.

Do you think you could win in court using the argument that same sex marriage should be banned because some people consider it immoral? Yes or no.

I gave you a straightforward answer to your question.

It is an unfair question because that is not my argument.

Oh, come on. I answered Mike's question, which had nothing to do with my argument.

I'm not saying its your argument. You can certainly imagine a hypothetical. In your opinion, yes or no?

In my hypothetical imagination . . . yes.

Very few of my posts have been long-winded.   Brevity is nice.

And, as I said, it's fun watching jrdx all but begging someone to say "There are no legal grounds to deny SSM."   No one will do it and he just can't stop.   I know, it's a bit childish, but these forums are time-killers.

You're still hedging but ok.

Your answer is yes, you think you could be successful in court arguing that same sex marriage should be banned because some people consider it immoral.

I don't think I have to say much else. That answer says plenty about you.
