I said there's a good/bad way to allocate resources. I don't think it's rocket science. I imagine, if Cruz was spending HIS own money, he'd take more care in how he's spending it. Do you think Cruz/Hillary are incapable of resource allocation? Are you sure Trump won't be a little less tight when the money isn't his?
Flip that question around - How sure are you that Cruz and the politicians will spend wisely once in office? What have they done to PROVE they even can do that? Donald has a different mindset when spending, and dealing, than Washington politicians. I'm willing to take the chance that he won't learn how to spend like a politician overnight. Behaviors take a long time to change.
Of course I'm not sure of that.
That said, with no track record as a politician, Trump is a wild card.
Let's put it this way: I've been doing the trucking thing for awhile. As an employee, it was easy for me to agree to take 5-10% less from a customer in negotiations. I was being paid a salary and, as long as trucks were moving, my employer was pretty happy. As a business owner, that changed. If my profit is 12%, there is no way in hell I'm taking a 10% rate cut. 2% is better than 0% but there is risk involved in every load. It's better to sit than work, IMO.
Applying that to Trump, if his employer(US citizens) are clamoring for him to do something that he does not see as fiscally responsible, would he? We don't know because he has no experience with that situation.
