I'm reasonable. Trump is a horrible Presidential candidate. If I had a major real estate project, especially a high-end resort-type thing, I'd want him in charge. He's a fine promoter and he obviously has plenty of experience in that sort of thing. He has no experience as a politician, something you HATED about Obama, and, as you say, will say/do anything. That's a horrible quality for the POTUS.

As tec said, "burn it down" would be something Trump would do if not nominated. Again, a horrible quality for the POTUS. Everyone but Trump "fans" know this.
Trump has waaaaaaay more experience than Obama. He's 69 years old, has built a $10 billion international company, employed 10s of thousands of people, and negotiates for everything (including Union negotiations).

I found this article insightful.... Done good, sooner bad. I'm willing to take this risk whereas you are content with business as usual.

Yet Trump doesn't understand basic policy. He doesn't understand what the nuclear triad is. He vowed to save Medicare $300 billion a year on prescription drugs when they spend less than half of that. He said women should be punished for abortions. He doesn't have a clue. He just pulls **** out of his ***.

Being born rich doesn't make you qualified to be president.
Electing a community organizer with no experience opened the floodgates for anyone to be President. I've said it before. Thank you Democrats!!

So you admit that Trump has no idea what he's talking about?

On some of the specifics, sure. I think he's spot on with his America First world view which includes a border wall, better infrastructure, better trade deals, and enforcing existing law. I also like his backbone, and that he's not politically correct. He'll need both to make necessary changes to Washington-as-usual.

He certainly knows how to get support from idiots.

If order to effect change, you typically have to earn the respect of those you want to change.

Trump's "power" in the business world has been derived from fear due to his bullying and strong arm tactics, not from any level of respect.

How do you think that management style would work in DC should he (theoretically) be elected, especially after what would be a year long campaign of divisiveness and controversy?

Better than Ted Cruz and his all or nothing tactics. That's just like Obama.

And Trumps power in the business world is more about leverage and negotiations than bullying and strong arm tactics.

That's laughable. "Take my ball and go home" tactics are no better. And probably worse.

When did Trump say he'd take his ba and go home? He's said he'd run independent but that's because he wants to win the job and he's leveraging the fact he gets the most votes of any candidate to get better treatment from the RNC and the establishment.

Trumps "leverage" comes from his money and his threats that "you won't get any of it unless you give me what I want".

Do you think he'll be bringing his personal checkbook into negotiations with Congress, or with foreign leaders?

He'll be bringing a bigger checkbook... The US Government. We pay for everything world-wide, time to get something back for all the money we spend. Think America First!!!!

He'll be buying Congressional support with government money?
4/5/2016 12:04 PM
And how does all this government money that he'll be spending as "leverage" work in conjunction with his promise to retire the national debt?

'nuff said.

I'm curious how deep moy's delusion runs.

Will it be tempered by Trump's loss in WI today?

Or when Trump falls short of 1237?

Or will it hold strong until the nomination goes to someone else?

Will moy keep it up after that? Will he be sure that Trump is a viable third party candidate? Will moy push for a redo in 2020, Make America Greaterer?
