I'm seriously thinking about switching from Unaffiliated to Republican so that I can vote against Trump in the CT primary in late April, and then changing back to Unaffiliated. Just so I can have the satisfaction of knowing that I voted against him.

My daughter almost talked me into that last Tuesday but as I told her, at my age I might be dead before I could change it and I sure do not want to face my maker as a registered Repug.

For ****'s sake. If Obama had said "If Zimmerman is not convicted, there will be riots", we(and that includes you) would have condemned him thru eternity for threatening/inciting riots and trying to influence judgements that he should not.

This is just another example of why Trump's clownshow has to be derailed.
I've heard that rioting can be an effective way to bring about change.

Is that no longer the case?
Obviously, there's a difference between a group of relatively powerless people rioting because of unjust actions of a police force and an immensely powerful man encouraging people to riot because he isn't getting his way in politics.

Congrats! BL sets up another straw man. These guys live in what if - fantasy world. It's better than reality.

Let's do this. Let's pretend an army of unjust out of control police preforming unjust actions against relatively powerless people in a group, who then riot, is different from an immensely powerful giant of a man who isn't an immensely powerful man because he isn't getting his way in politics and so how powerful can he be while encouraging people to riot?

WHAT?

Where is this army of unjust police preforming beat downs on relatively powerless people rioting?

Who is this immensely powerful man encouraging people to riot because he isn't getting his way in politics?

Let's get through that straw man argument and then we can BEGIN to discuss who has been going to who's gatherings and rioting.

YOU can start by listing all the Hillary speeches disrupted by the Trump people coming to your house and preforming beat down.

So true.... Where are all the Trump people that are going into Hillary and Bernie's rallies to try to pick fights? I think it's hilarious that the Trump people are labeled the ANGRY voters... Yet MikeT and Tec are the ones acting like angry voters. Trump voters are labeled as VIOLENT people yet the libs are the people intent on inciting violence at Trump rallies. Just goes to show how the media can so dishonestly shape things... That's why we Trump folk don't trust the media.

The Sanders and Clinton people are rioting because they're scared to death that those who represent their way of seeing things are going to get totally overwhelmed by Trump and the massive populist groundswell behind him. I think they also feel forsaken by Obama more than ever because his conduct has enabled Trump. They should be angry -- Obama had a chance to unite the country and pass his agenda. He hasn't. His approach has rarely worked. Time for something new and different.

Let's not try to frame it as I'm a Hillary or Bernie supporter. They are horrible too. And you can throw Cruz in the bucket also. There are no good options. The best thing for America would be all 4 enter the Thunderdome and none leave.

You're an angry voter.... And you're not a Trump supporter.... How did that happen? Aren't Trump supporters supposed to be the 'angry' voters?

I think "stupid" is the appropriate adjective, not angry.

I say we vote "none of the above" and go without a President for the next four years. That would be better than any of the top four candidates still in the race.
