Didn't I tell you to stop using the word "devisive" when arguing for Trump? Trump has divided his "own" party with his reality show antics.
Yet Trump is the most popular Republican candidate as evidenced at the polls.... And he leads Republicans across all demographics..... Women, Men, whites, minorities, Poorly educated, highly educated, low income, high income, the list goes on. His base is so broad. Cruz wins the very conservative vote only. Rubio has no support. He sucks.
You act like he's got this huge majority of support. Reality is that he's got 30ish% of GOP voters. That's great when Cruz only has 20%, Rubio has 15%, and Kasich has 5%. But it doesn't signal good things in a general election.
30+20+15+5=100

Yep.

I'm suggesting it was a sorry lot to choose from. Somehow, some way, Trump got the most support. That does NOT make him a good Presidential candidate. Seriously, the exchanges between Trump/Rubio were a thrown shoe away from some 3rd world country political meeting. That is NOT leadership.

I shouldn't have said voters. In polls over the last month, Trump is in the 30s, Cruz is in the low 20s, Rubio in the teens, Kasich single digits. It doesn't need to add up to 100.

It's a 4 person race. 35% of a 4 person race is a good thing. If it was a 2 person race Trump would have more than 35%. Regarding the general..... Like Trump has said... " I haven't even begun on Hillary yet "
3/8/2016 2:23 PM
Hillary won't be able to tag team Trump at debates like little Rubio and lying Ted have done.

I think you're kidding yourself if you think any of the Cruz/Rubio/Kasich supporters are going to jump to the Trump side should any of those three drop out of the race.

You're looking at 35% for Trump, 65% anybody but Trump.

Would he?

Let's say he really does have 35% of the GOP behind him right now. Normally, I think it would be safe to assume that almost all of the remaining 65% of GOP voters would back him as the nominee. But, with Trump, we know that isn't the case.

Tec already decided to vote for Clinton if Trump is the nominee and he's a pretty conservative guy. My parents are lifelong Republicans who will sit out the election if Trump is the nominee. ****, the #NeverTrump movement is almost entirely conservative.

Determining how much support Trump will convert isn't easy but we can look at things like his net favorability rating, his campaign organization, his funding, his popularity trend, how he's performing in debates, interviews, twitter, etc. Not a single one of those things point to general election success for Trump.

You keep quoting him but that really doesn't mean anything. Trump is ******. And so are the Republicans if the nominate him.

This is correct. Hell, I don't even like Rubio and I was supporting him.

If it's Trump/Clinton, I won't vote for the first time since the early 80s.

I think some time ago, I indicated that I would vote for Hillary (and then wish that God would strike me dead on the spot) over Trump.

I'll amend that. I would vote for Hillary only if I thought my vote would make a difference. But seeing that I live in a very blue state, I think Hillary takes CT easily no matter who she goes against. So probably no need for me to vote for her.

If it's Sanders/Trump, that's a definite no vote for either from me.

At pretty much the exact same time Cruz is telling an interviewer that he won't throw stones at the other candidates and that he isn't worried about them, his staff is sending e-mails telling registered Repubs that a vote for Rubio would be a wasted vote. Everything these idiots do drives more and more people to vote for Trump. Hillary will do the same stupid sheit.

The **** are you talking about?

No one who was planning on voting for Clinton (or Sanders) is going to vote for Trump. But, a lot of people who were planning on voting for Rubio/Cruz/Bush/Kasich will either not vote at all or vote for Clinton if Trump is the nominee.

She did. Hillary told people in Ohio and Pennsylvania today that she would shut down fracking. I understand she's stupid but THAT stupid?

One is only alive because of fracking and the other is hanging on with it because Obama destroyed the coal mining business and made it illegal with his executive orders and law written by a bureaucracy called the EPA which has no authority to write law or enforce law they have written without legislative approval.

Dumb ***** just lost 2 states.

Keep your ears open for her to walk it back. She can't do that until she gets rid of Sanders.

Not a problem in the DemoNazi party and the super stupid delegates. Fixed game. What a waste of time and money.
