Do you think this is a bad thing for him to do? If so, why?

That certainly counts as a horrible action of a citizen in his charge, doesn't it?

Who did he apologize to after James Holmes killed 12 people and injured 70 others at the movie theater in Boulder, CO in 2012?

Another horrible action of a citizen in his charge.

Has he apologized for all the protests committed by Westboro Baptist Church in the name of Jesus?

More horrible actions by citizens in his charge.

Fine.

Yes, it's a bad thing to do.  It's nothing more than political grandstanding and a PR stunt to appease a certain group of people.  Obama is no more responsible for what "bad" people do than you or I.  So he shouldn't pretend that he is.  And neither should you pretend that he is.  I certainly don't hold him responsible.  And neither should anybody with half a brain.

Ahhhh.... Like he addressed the IRS wrongfully targeting tea party groups? Makes sense.

Groups are always singled out.   Politicians apologize to them when it fits their agenda. 

Sandy Hooks victims?   GUN CONTROL!!!!
