Getting the bad guy is tough work.

Good thing Obama has some people willing to do that while he plays golf, shoots hoops and makes up NCAA brackets.

 

They all do...they all always have.  It's just that for some reason this one gets **** for it even though he's taken less vacation than the last four presidents.  It's weird.  You would think he was unique in a way, but I can't figure out what that uniqueness would be.  We've had a bunch of Presidents.

  OH REALLY!  Your former President would stay in the WHITE HOUSE until after Christmas before he went home.  He stayed in the peoples house so all his secret service and staff could go home and spend time with their families.  I'm sure the smartest people on the planet know that.  Only after Christmas would BUSH go home to CRAWFORD TEXAS.  A place where he built shelters and amenities for the people protecting him.  So they could be comfortable and safe while he cleared brush and saved the taxpayer money because he lived what he preached.

Obama Scrooge doesn't give anybody a day off and goes to Hawaii and raises your taxes to do it. 

But in their efforts to lash out at Obama over every little thing, conservatives are forced to do the most uncomfortable thing possible: pretend George W. Bush was a shinning counter-example to Obama’s excesses. It’s no easy task, as we shall see.

In the latest example, conservative website Independent Journal Review, decided to argue that Obama’s vacation showed a lack of presidential poise. Titled “How the Bushes Spent Christmas in Office is One More Striking Difference between Them and the Obamas,” the article went on to describe Bush’s Christmas’ as times of great charity and thoughtfulness, whereas Obama might as well be renamed “The Grinch.”

While [the Bush’s] were in the White House, they always delayed their trip home to Texas until after Christmas.

Instead, they’d spend the days leading up to Christmas relaxing in Camp David, a presidential retreat located just 62 miles away from D.C.

When President Bush made Christmas calls to the troops, it was on Christmas Eve from Camp David.

If you’re wondering why that makes Bush sound better, it doesn’t. The author, so confident going into the article, now can’t find any good reason why Bush is a better vacationer than Obama. It would be embarrassing if it weren’t so predictable.

The best thing the writer can come with is this pitiful jab:

We paid for the press to fly under Bush? What an absolute waste of taxpayers dollars.

Sustained high unemployment rate, out of control budget deficit, constantly rising fuel prices and horrible foreign relations to name a few.

Other than firing the bullet that killed bin Laden, I'm not sure what he's done well.  At some point, you have to take responsibilty for the job you're doing and stop blaming the previous administration.

jobless claims are a week by week report. Saying Jobless Claims are close to a 42 year low is like saying Obama had a good week.

Obama did have a good week.   He's been golfing in Hawaii while the real contributors are working.
