It depends what it is. If a kid's playing kickball on a main road, I'd probably say something.

Either way, the odds are that the parent is yelling "DON'T YOU TELL ME HOW TO RAISE MY KIDS!!!!" at someone.

As I said, it's all in the wording.     When you say "Government Mandate", a certain percentage of the population rejects the idea without even knowing what it is.  And it's not a small percentage.
If a person running for president is pandering to that percentage on an issue this important, that's a big deal. It's not media spin or liberal bias.

By refusing to be vaccinated, one could argue that you're not hurting anyone but yourself.

Not vaccinating your children isn't "not hurting anyone," though.

After all, a vaccination is supposed to prevent YOU from getting something.

20 kids, 19 were vaccinated against measles.   The other one gets it.    Who's harmed?

Everyone knows you don't have to be very smart to be a parent.    Parents make stupid decisions all the time.

I would be perfectly fine if it was mandated. You'd think it's compelled by basic common sense, but it seems it isn't.

Don't be confused.   Parents are the legal guardian.   Because of this, they make many, many decisions regarding said child.   More than a few of these do harm to the child's well-being.    Why is refusing to allow them to be vaccinated any different?
