I have.   Could you pretend to be unable to move?   I'm going to try to as soon as I hit "submit post".

I successfully not moved between this and my last post.   It was pretty easy.

There's a few guys on top of him.

You do understand that they wanted him on the ground, right?

You know what, **** it, might as well shoot him the moment he says "don't touch me." He might fight you. It's not like you're going to jail when you do it.
Exactly. In mike's world, the possibility that a criminal could commit a crime gives cops license to dole out any force they see fit without any fear of accountability.

It must be nice to be able to have blind faith in the people in power.

Yup. And he wasn't going anywhere.

Not once he was subdued.   Do you think he was resisting arrest initially?

He certainly didn't appear to be a threat to the safety of law enforcement, but yes, he was resisting arrest by not putting his hands behind his back.

KILL HIM! HE COMMITTED A CRIME AND MIGHT ATTACK!

Would you say he's a large man?   Assuming "yes", what would you have the police officers do at that point?   "Excuse me, kind sir, but what do we need to do in order to get you to comply to our request?"

Maybe this goes back to "Don't fight/struggle with cops".

If Garner and Brown do what the cops tell them to do, this thread doesn't even exist.

I would have the police officers shoot him in the head, obviously. That ends that problem. Whew.

That seems a bit excessive.   Getting him to the ground and stopping him from struggling should suffice.

Should all the people standing around be charged?    Do you think they could hear him say "I can't breathe"?

Says the guy who argued that we should support a deeply flawed healthcare law because they would fix it later.

Again, there are rules for what the police can and cannot do. Even if Garner is resisting arrest, that doesn't give the cops a blank check. Killing him with a choke hold is negligent homicide.

Did the people standing around choke him out?
