Ferguson Police should be outlawed Topic

It appears we have an issue when it comes to how to deal with cops when they commit crimes. It's not a "oops we had an issue with 1 in 10000"

Here.  This will certainly allow you and BL to say "That's not right!!!  We gotta protest on a simsports message board" but this is it:

So I read this. And I don't disagree with much if any of that. Your response is "this is how it is, oh well." Is that your response to most thing you disagree with?

It's also an article regarding the non-indictment of Wilson, which I actually agree with. Some of that doesn't apply to Garner's case. The part that does, is the conflict of interest with the DA and the NYPD. When you rely on the NYPD for the vast majority of cases, you don't want to **** them off by indicting a cop. And your response is essentially "yup. That's how it is."
If I can't change it, yeah, pretty much.  I got a seatbelt ticket a year ago.  I don't like the law so I seldom wore one.  I was endangering myself.   And I haven't been in an accident in 30 years.   So, my "risk" was next to nothing.    Did I go fight the ticket just to be heard?  Or did I go pay the damn thing?    I know I didn't come argue about it on a simsports message board.

We have a judicial system in place.   A cop performing his duties may be forced to do some unpleasant things.    If he wasn't way "out of line" while doing his job, he's not going to be charged.   That's how it is.

FWIW, there were a lot of people standing around Garner.    Should they be charged?   I'm sure they saw the same thing as the cop who choked him.
FWIW, you can endanger others when you don't wear one.

People are going to be upset when it appears an injustice occurs. You can't do anything about it. So why does it bother you? That's how it is.

How do I endanger others while not wearing a seatbelt?    If I get in a wreck and my body flies out of the car I might hit someone?

What one perceives to be an "injustice" may not be one.    That's why we have a judicial system.   You either trust the system to work or you don't.   If you don't, you should probably lives somewhere else.   I hear North Korea is nice this time of year.

BTW, I see people getting choked out all the time.    They don't die.    Perhaps being 200 lbs overweight could be a factor?

Cool. People that don't trust the government are free to leave. Awesome solution.

Yea, and when the guy says "stop, I can't breathe," he stops. Otherwise it's a crime.

Wouldn't every person being arrested say something along those lines?

"DON'T CUFF ME!!!  I'M ALLERGIC TO METAL!!!!"
"LOWER YOUR GUNS!!!  I'M UNARMED!!!!"
"DON'T CHASE ME!!!!!!   I HAVE A HEART CONDITION!!!!!"

Minnesota man said he's asmatic before getting tased - still got tased and didn't die. And what happens when a criminal uses yoir suggested 'i cant breathe' technique to get a cop to back off and then attacks the cop once he's free of the cops grip. Some things to consider.

Right. The answer to your question is "No, not everyone being arrested gives an excuse on why they can't be treated the way they are at that moment."

The medical examiner said he died of homicide, using NYS's definition. A grand jury said he didn't. Who is wrong?

But some do, right?

If you're a cop trying to take down a much larger man, should you back off and let him go?

Perhaps the ME doesn't know the meaning of homicide.

"the deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another"

I might let up a touch on his ******* neck. And if he tries to fight back, I'll do something about it. Garner resisted arrest, but he never gave any indication that he was a threat to a police officer.
