Here. This will certainly allow you and BL to say "That's not right!!! We gotta protest on a simsports message board" but this is it:

So I read this. And I don't disagree with much if any of that. Your response is "this is how it is, oh well." Is that your response to most thing you disagree with?
It's also an article regarding the non-indictment of Wilson, which I actually agree with. Some of that doesn't apply to Garner's case. The part that does, is the conflict of interest with the DA and the NYPD. When you rely on the NYPD for the vast majority of cases, you don't want to **** them off by indicting a cop. And your response is essentially "yup. That's how it is."
If I can't change it, yeah, pretty much. I got a seatbelt ticket a year ago. I don't like the law so I seldom wore one. I was endangering myself. And I haven't been in an accident in 30 years. So, my "risk" was next to nothing. Did I go fight the ticket just to be heard? Or did I go pay the damn thing? I know I didn't come argue about it on a simsports message board.
We have a judicial system in place. A cop performing his duties may be forced to do some unpleasant things. If he wasn't way "out of line" while doing his job, he's not going to be charged. That's how it is.
FWIW, there were a lot of people standing around Garner. Should they be charged? I'm sure they saw the same thing as the cop who choked him.
