also....do we get entire 1977 roster even if it exceeds 25 players?  Will some just go into manually drafted AAA slots?

Yes to getting the entire 1977 roster, and putting extras in AAA. Re: transaction deadline, I'll start a separate forum to discuss such things when we get more owners.

So.....if a player started his MLB career with one team.....but did not have enough at bats to make the WIS database....then was traded in offseason and his first WIS season is with that 2nd team....which team does he go with?

Wouldn't the spirit of the league say that player goes with team where he actually played his 1st MLB game?   In essence....they would be on IR their first season.    Understand what I mean?

Ideally, the spirit of the league says that. For practical purposes, it'll be much easier to use a players WIS rookie season to determine who he belongs to.

But what if you have a catcher who moved to OF, for instance, and the player your team uses at catcher the next year isn't a rookie? And you are way under the recommended total on Catcher PA for a season?
